The Retirement Roadmap Academy
Nobody warns you about the Tuesday.
You hit every financial target. You hand in the badge. And then one ordinary Tuesday morning you wake up and quietly wonder who you are now.
That's the part I work on.
Monique Rhodes
I help people build a retirement that feels good to live in, not just one that works on paper.
The financial advice is everywhere. The rest of it barely exists.
There are ten thousand people ready to talk to you about drawdown rates and almost nobody talking about what happens to your identity.
The structure goes. A lot of who you are goes with it. The people you saw every day quietly disappear from your life, and it happens so gradually you don't notice until it has already happened.
Purpose, identity, connection, and a daily shape that turns open days into a life you actually want to be in. That is the whole of my work.

The three things that decide whether retirement feels good
Who you are now
Work handed you a title, a rhythm and a reason to get up. Nobody hands you the next one. You build it deliberately, and it is easier than people expect once you know what you are building.
Structure that holds
Open days sound wonderful until you have five hundred of them. Structure is not the opposite of freedom. It is the thing that makes freedom liveable.
People, on purpose
Almost all of your social life was built by proximity. Once the proximity goes, connection has to be chosen. Most people do not realise that until they are already lonely.
From people who have been through it
"I felt lost. This was the wake-up call I didn't know I needed. It gave me the structure, the purpose, and honestly the happiness I had been missing."
Linda Michaels
Retired HR Executive
"This flipped everything I believed about retirement. I realised I wasn't just retiring from my job. I needed to retire into something meaningful."
Mark Dance
Former Engineer, new author at 65
"It helped me reconnect with my passions and reminded me it's never too late to grow. It gave me a roadmap and the confidence to embrace this new chapter."
